Weatherboard House Extensions

After initially contacting 4 other builders for quotes and designs on how to get the most out of our existing house and turn it into our forever home, it was one of those builders who put forward Capitals name stating our job was not his cup of tea but was something Capital specialized in. After researching the company and going through reviews our first communication was with Dean the designer. Upon our first meeting with Dean he dismantled our tunnel vision and presented a wide range of ideas including a second storey that could be achieved within our budget allowing us to keep our large rear deck that had been the centre of our families entertaining for the last 25 years. His enthusiasm and confidence in the team at Capital to give us something special sold them to us and we quickly signed up. The signing up process was done with Pearce and Travis and everything was thoroughly explained. Work commenced in the March with everything running smoothly and on time until the build finished in November with very few hiccups on the way thanks to Kyle the Project Manager. Monthly onsite meetings with Travis and Tiff met the lines of communication were always open with any queries or concerns promptly dealt with. Laura (Interior Design) was worth her weight in gold with advice on everything from power point placement to tiles, bathroom and ensuite layout and interior and exterior colors for our home. The team at Capital were very good at providing a can do attitude with numerous upgrades at no extra cost giving us a feeling that they knew how to bring the best out of the build providing us with peace of mind. Overall I can say without a doubt our experience dealing with Capital was a positive one and would have no concerns recommending them to anyone considering a renovation project. It's no easy decision when your life’s savings are on the line. We are so glad that we made the right call and chose Capital Building for our home extension and renovation project.

It all started with a phone call with Dean. He listened to our needs, worked very closely with us at early stage for the design, made it easier for us to decide to go with Capital. Pierce handled the contract signing very professionally.
Laura’s interior design insights guided us through not only colour selections but also the layouts of some areas, that we enjoy living in now.

Of course there always will be challenges for the build, gladly Andrew and Travis were there every step of the way. Thanks Andrew for your patience in attending all the on-site meetings, answering all our questions, and pushing the project forward. Thanks Travis and Andrew went beyond their normal builder’s responsibilities not just tick all the boxes, but care about our home and did their best to make everything perfect.

Capital Building transformed our 3 bedroom house to a lovely 4 bedroom home with spacious open living area, can’t be happier. Highly recommended!
