The Process

FIRST CONTACT

Call Capital Building or contact us online and we will call you back.

INITIAL ASSESSMENT

One of our expert Design Consultants will chat with you about your house design ideas and requirements.  They can give you advice on what will work and the approximate costs involved.

BOOK AN ONSITE DETAILED EVALUATION

Make a booking for one of our experienced Capital Building Design Consultants to come and do an onsite consultation.

ONSITE CONSULT

Our Design Consultant will meet with you onsite to discuss your house design ideas and requirements in detail.  We focus on collaboration and house design solutions, providing ideas and options to help you achieve your dream home.

Concept Outline & Design Costing

Following the Onsite Consultation, we will prepare some preliminary sketches and present you with a more accurate estimation of cost.

FEASIBILITY

We examine feasibility to ensure that the concepts are compliant with the relevant authorities.

CREATING YOUR OWN HOME DESIGN

At this stage, our Design Consultant will meet with the capital Building Design Team to create your personalised detailed plan, complete with the ideal exterior appearance.

PERMIT CHECKS

We complete checks to see if your building needs a planning permit.  A planning permit is obtained if required.

Preparatory Works & Documents

We will prepare all the necessary documentation required to obtain a building permit.  This includes preparatory works such as Site Analysis, Soil Analysis and Residential Code Analysis.

Final Working Drawings & Specs

The final working drawings and specifications are completed at this stage.

CONTRACT SIGNED

After agreement that all necessary documentation is complete and correct, contracts between you and Capital Building are signed.

BUILDING PERMIT

We obtain the building permit.

COMMENCE BUILDING

Construction of your dream home begins.

Typically, the length of time from initial contact to the commencement of building is a minimum of 12 weeks (not including any town planning).

COMPLETION & HANDOVER

Construction is complete and we hand your new home over to you.
