This is a 5-star review, and importantly, it is for a reason.

As a very particular and fussy homeowner, I spent years searching for the right builder for our extension project. Since 2017, I had spoken with over four extension builders before finally meeting Trav and Dean and selecting Capital Building Contractors.

One of the key things I was looking for was a builder who was approachable, flexible, and willing to listen. Extension projects are very different from brand-new builds, with many moving parts and unexpected challenges along the way, and the team handled this professionally throughout the journey. This was also a very specific build. My expectation was that the final outcome should not feel like an extension, but rather a completely brand-new home — and Capital Building genuinely helped bring that vision to life.

Of course, like any project, there were challenges and disagreements at times, but what stood out was their willingness to discuss, negotiate, and work through issues professionally.
The build was handed over in October 2025, but I intentionally waited before writing this review so I could properly assess their after-handover support, maintenance, and defect management — which has been excellent.

A sincere thank you to the entire Capital Building team, especially Trav, Dean, Kyle, and Andrew, for working so closely with us throughout the project.

Most importantly, we are extremely happy with the final outcome of what is now our dream home, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Capital Building Contractors to anyone looking for a quality extension build.
