We offer both ‘Design and Build’ and build only options. Meaning that we are happy to work with you, from your plans if they are suitable.

Yes, Capital Building offer design and planning services to help you visualise and plan your renovation or extension project. Our team can provide expert guidance and create concept designs based on your preferences. Capital Building offers a turn key, design and build service and can care of everything involved from conception to completion.

Major construction projects, including renovations and extensions, require a building permit. However, not all projects will require a planning permit. Capital Building can give you expert and specific advice for your home and project. You can also visit: www.vba.vic.gov.au/consumers/home-renovation-essentials/permits to learn more.

Capital Building specialise in major home renovation projects. Usually including new kitchens, laundries, bathrooms and new open plan living areas. Typically, these projects will include extensions, for example a new second storey with retreat, bedrooms and bathroom and/ or a new rear extension with a open plan kitchen, dining and living.

In many cases, it is possible to stay in your home during a renovation. However, for larger projects that involve extensive construction or major disruptions, it may be  necessary to temporarily relocate.

    A year on from living in our renovation and I can confidently say choosing Capital Building Contractors was the right call.

    We engaged Capital Building Contractors to extend our first floor and turn our house into a double-storey, and the experience was genuinely smooth from start to finish. Dean was incredibly helpful in helping us design a space that actually works for how we live, not just how it looks.
